A sublime adventure into the world of sacred sound.
Brenda McMorrow and John de Kadt create a powerful and ecstatic experience of song and sound, featuring Brenda's exquisite voice and folk-inspired guitar, and John's mesmerizing percussion and spoken word. Their music and mystic poetry, along with the sublime steel Hang (pronounced "hung") drum, take us on a stirring, nourishing, and heart opening journey into the world of sacred sound. With Sanskrit Mantra and Kirtan (call and response singing) as the basis, they weave in the power of Spanish Medicine songs and inspiring English lyrics to create a healing and uplifting tapestry with the audience.
Devotional Chant Artist Brenda McMorrow shares a unique and warmly embracing style of music, in which she blends elements of acoustic folk, world rhythms, ancient Indian mantras and Spanish medicine songs with a sweetly introspective singer-songwriter’s sensibility. Yoga Journal describes Brenda as having “a knack for expressing the deepest realizations in the sparsest lyrics”. Spiritual teacher Ram Dass has said: “Brenda has a gift”, and her music has been touching people’s hearts across the planet.
John de Kadt is an acclaimed percussionist, storyteller and poet. He has studied and played ethnic hand percussive instruments for over 30 years; studied with percussion masters around the world; and has performed on PBS and NBC. John tours internationally and plays at Yoga festivals, retreats and events across the globe. He has released 4 CD's and is highly sought after for his unique blending of drums with mystic poetry and the great myths of the world.

Dive into the waves of your subconscious while lulled into deep relaxation with the guidance of ancient tonal vibrations.
A sound bath is an immersive listening process that utilizes vibrations from sound to facilitate a powerful and nurturing therapeutic experience for the body and mind.
Each sound bath experience is individual and unique due to the nature of live music, the state of facilitators, and the energetics of the participants. For each session, participants can expect a similar rhythm every time. Participants can lie down or sit to find their most comfortable position. There will be gentle movement, breathwork, and meditation before the sound bath to ease us into the space together. Using a combination of voice, didgeridoo, drums and percussion instruments, harmonium, flutes, and singing bowls a non-traditional and unstructured soundscape will unfold.
As you dive into the depths of the soundscape, your awareness goes from an active place to a slower, more meditative space. In this relaxed and dreamlike state, there is an opportunity to go on an inward exploration of self-inquiry and self-discovery.

We simply need to slow down and let life unfold.

In this two-hour program, you’ll learn simple ways to care for your nervous system, and explore themes of relaxation, receptivity, and trust. Lightwork Orchestra is a collaborative duo of Mitch Rosenberg on didgeridoo, jaw harp, shruti box, and overtone singing with John McKusick playing gongs, handpans, Indian Slide Guitar, throat singing and a goodie bag of sacred world instruments. Together they provide a type of powerful warriors sound bath that only two large bearded men can offer.
A Lightwork Orchestra performance is one part soundbath, one part live band, and one part psychedelic projection art light show. Our sound journeys begin with nature sounds that will put your mind at ease as you begin to travel along side the didgeridoo through sonic realms of peace and tranquility, and boost in and out of more focused rhythmic jams with shakers, handpans, flutes, drums, and singing. Just then they’ll blast off into outer space with looping delays, gongs, and chimes. Gently returning you to your body in restorative bliss. It’s really something else.

Please join us for an afternoon of being present in the body, connecting with others, and not taking ourselves too seriously!
This workshop is not a therapy group, but a time to learn and move in the body while interacting with others. This workshop is inspired by a drama therapy method known as Developmental Transformations (DvT), which uses play, embodiment, and encounter as a way to move through difficult moments and open up new perspectives.

Join us for an evening of mesmerizing, ritual, song, story and music. This gathering of sacred singing and wisdom story weave together a few of the best ancient customs of being human. The ReMemberers practice community-based ritual story telling and song. Annie Southard's numinous vocalizations, Alex Harvey's vibrating strings and John de Kadt’s percussion and wisdom tales collide into a single heart opening experience.
A multi-disciplinary encounter at its most spontaneous, this sharing offers ancient stories from a variety of indigenous and mystical origins that are accompanied by a variety of traditional and original music. The ReMemberers call their genre "prayer-formance" - a gathering of attention that invites listeners to turn inward and explore the contours of their own mythologies. The ReMemberers aim to reconnect the dismembered parts of our individual, collective and ancestral selfs - allowing us, for a time - to dwell in a village of wholeness.
Sliding scale tickets $20 -$45. Kids 12 and under free.
