Unwind and recharge with this fully supported, restorative yoga class. Using props for complete comfort, we’ll explore poses designed to deeply relax the body and mind.
This class is perfect for calming your nervous system and counteracting the effects of stress. We’ll begin with gentle movements to warm up, followed by a series of restorative poses held for extended periods. As the seasons change, we’ll deepen our relaxation with longer holds and explore practices like Yoga Nidra, breathwork, and meditation to cultivate inner peace and presence.

September 10 - November 12, 2024. I will offer one make-up class on November 19 for a missed class.

Cydney Smith, founder of Spirited Nutrition, empowers individuals to cultivate well-being and purpose through embodied coaching programs, courses, and mindful yoga classes. With over 30 years of yoga practice and a Chopra Institute certification, she guides students toward inner connection with ease and presence.
Cydney began practicing yoga after a significant back injury in 1989. As a traveler, she sought out yoga classes wherever she could, often in grange halls and church basements. Over the years she has explored yoga asana, meditation, pranayama, and other practices as a path of personal development and self-reflection. She has experienced periods of anxiety and personal trauma, and yoga is her path of wellbeing. She has trained and practiced in Iyengar, Anusara, Kripalu, and other schools of yoga. She offers classes for self-realization, well-being, and Peace.

Abhai Raj has been meditating for 20 years and teaches in the tradition of Parmahansa Yogananda. Class includes light movement, pranayam (breathing exercises), silent mantra, and 20 to 40 minute silent meditation.
